Colonial High School Families,
What an incredible week it was at Colonial High School! Our campus was filled with school spirit as students and staff enthusiastically participated in Homecoming Week festivities. Thank you to our Student Government Association for organizing an outstanding week of events and transforming our campus with amazing decorations that brought our “Welcome to Rio” theme to life. It was especially wonderful to see so many students enjoying our Homecoming Dance, complete with a spectacular entrance featuring colorful floating umbrellas, 360-degree video experiences, and memorable photo opportunities.
A huge congratulations goes out to our Colonial FFA program for the recognition they received at the Orange County Farm Bureau Dinner. Our state champion teams, including the State Winning Forestry and Milk Quality and Products Teams, were honored for their outstanding accomplishments and received financial support to help them travel to Indianapolis later this month to compete at the national level. We are incredibly proud of these students for representing Colonial with excellence and distinction.
We also celebrate our very own FFA Advisor, Caela Sauce, who was recognized as Agriculture Teacher of the Year. Her dedication, leadership, and commitment to student success continue to make a lasting impact on our school community. Congratulations to all of our FFA students and Ms. Sauce on these well-deserved honors. Your achievements make our school extremely proud.
As a reminder, Monday, October 12, is a student holiday and marks the end of the first nine weeks of the school year. We encourage all students to use this time to reflect on their accomplishments, review their academic progress, and set goals for a strong start to the second quarter.
Thank you for your continued support of Colonial High School. Together, we will continue to Connect. Grow. Thrive.
It's Great to Be a Grenadier!
