Principal’s Message

Dear Grenadiers,

Welcome to Colonial High School—where “It’s Great to be a Grenadier!” Principal Reussow

It is my absolute pleasure to welcome you to a new school year filled with promise, opportunity, and growth. Whether you are joining us for the first time or returning to continue your journey, know that you are part of a vibrant and supportive community committed to excellence in all that we do.

At Colonial High School, we believe in the power of education to transform lives. Our dedicated teachers and staff have worked tirelessly to create a learning environment that is both challenging and nurturing. We are proud to offer a wide range of academic programs, extracurricular activities, and leadership opportunities designed to help you discover your passions and reach your full potential.

This year, I encourage you to take full advantage of everything CHS has to offer. Step outside your comfort zone, set ambitious goals, and embrace the challenges ahead. Whether you’re pursuing honors, Advanced Placement, Cambridge, or Dual Enrollment courses, or exploring your interests through the arts, athletics, or clubs—there is a place for you here.

Remember, high school is not just about academics; it’s about becoming the best version of yourself. Get involved, stay curious, and support one another. Together, we will continue to build a tradition of excellence that makes us all proud to be Grenadiers.

As you begin this exciting chapter, keep these words from Nelson Mandela close to heart:

“It always seems impossible until it is done.”

Let’s make this year one of growth, achievement, and unforgettable memories. Welcome to Colonial High School!

With pride and enthusiasm,
Mrs. Reussow
